Lawful permanent residents (LPRs), also known as “green card” holders, are aliens who are lawfully authorized to live permanently within the United States.
As some terminology in reports do change, we maintain previously posted reports and datasets as originally approved and published.
About This Report
The tables below offer state-level data for the top 20 states of residence of new LPRs by type and broad class of admission and by sex and broad age group.
These tables are state-level expanded versions of two panels of Table 9 (sex and broad age group) from each of the Yearbook of Immigration Statistics from FY 2018-2022 to distinguish between Adjustments of Status and New Arrivals.
