The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) leads federal cybersecurity and is the national coordinator for critical infrastructure security and resilience. CISA seeks to reduce risk to the nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure.
In fiscal year 2025, the Office of Homeland Security Statistics will begin reporting on federal cybersecurity incidents. Later this year, we will release a report on cybersecurity incidents reported to the CISA under the Federal Information Security Modernization Act. The report will include data such as:
- Functional impact
- Information impact
- Attack vector
- Actor characterization
- Severity
